Shopping Centre, Ireland Forever 21 at Jervis

The Background

Forever 21 has only one store in Ireland, which is located at the Jervis Centre. The brand’s marketing strategy is delivered globally from their US headquarters with no local support for regional initiatives.

The Challenge

Launch a Family & Friends promotion in 36 hours… with no promotional budget. With less than two days lead time before the client’s campaign was to begin, time was of the essence. The client also had no media budget available for promoting their offer.

The Solution

A shopper marketing campaign was created in Darius within 8 hours to include a web-based landing page that featured the Family & Friends 20% off promotion.

The campaign was then published from Darius, with emails sent to all opted-in shoppers on the Jervis Centre’s database, alongside promotion on all owned social media channels.

Shopper details were captured from everyone who engaged on the landing-page and automatically tagged as ‘Forever 21’ and ‘Fashion’ for future targeting purposes. Darius then presented an electronic barcode to each shopper that could be presented at point-of-sale within the Forever 21 store.

The Results

  • The campaign was created and published using Darius within 8 hours of receiving the client brief.
  • 142 shoppers redeemed the Family & Friends offer via Darius.
  • Forever 21 reported an average transaction value of €27 per offer redemption in-store equating to €3,872 in sales value to the store.
  • And all with a zero promotional budget!
